THE OBVIOUSNESS OF THE BODY
During the summer of 2000, Jean-Claude Bélégou begins colour works (one of them dealing with the body: The Obviousness of the body, two others on territory: The Lost Paradises and Zones).
In 2001, he wins a financial help alocated by the French Ministry of Culture for the purchase of a full digital equipment that enables him to print in ink jet.
The exhibition of The Obviouness of the body is created during the spring 2003 at the Pierre Brullé's gallery, and then at the Duchamp gallery in Yvetot, where photographies of this serie were associated to photographies of The Lost Paradises. This exhibition was the main core of a catalogue.
