BÉLÉGOU REGARDS SUR LA VILLA ARSON
In 1984, Jean-Claude Bélégou, with some other artists, is invited for a creative stay at the Villa Arson, National Center of Contemporary Art, in Nice, by Alain Leloup, at that time teacher of photography at the Villa Arson and by Henri Maccheroni, who was the Director of the center.
He photographed the activities of the place, the lessons, the architecture, the students' parties. He then presented this work under the form of five folding albums of ten pictures each, alluding to the gadgets of touristic places, as well as four large panels (80 X 120 cm) on the architecture and nude figures.
This work was shown at the Villa Arson in 1985.
